In industrial UAV applications such as agricultural spraying, heavy-lift transport, and high-current charging/discharging, batteries are used in frequent cycles. As battery capacity and charging power increase, heat buildup during charging becomes a common issue. This not only affects system stability but also requires longer cooling time, which reduces overall working efficiency.

The Tattu Smart Air Cooler is designed for this situation. It provides active cooling during charging, helping batteries cool down faster. This reduces waiting time between charging cycles and allows users to operate with fewer spare batteries while improving daily work efficiency.

  • Intelligent Temperature Control · Automatic Cooling

The system monitors battery temperature and working status in real time. When the temperature reaches 38°C, the cooling fans start automatically. No manual operation is needed, keeping the battery within a safe temperature range.

The unit uses multiple fans and a zoned airflow structure to create a stable air channel. This helps remove heat generated during high-current charging and keeps charging performance stable and efficient.

Note: It is not compatible with Tattu 3.5 30Ah 14S1P wide-body batteries.

Thermal Performance Test

To verify the cooling efficiency, we conducted a high-intensity comparative test on the Tattu 4.0 18S Smart Battery:

Test Conditions: Using the TA9000PLUS charger, charging cycles were initiated immediately following a 4C high-rate discharge.

Temperature Comparison: Without the air cooler, the battery temperature rose to 69°C after 5 cycles, triggering overheat protection. When used with the Tattu Smart Air Cooler, the peak temperature under the same conditions was reduced to 54°C, successfully supporting over 20 cycles of continuous, stable operation.

Conclusion: Results show that the air cooler achieves a significant temperature reduction of approximately 15°C. Through effective thermal management, the cooler ensures that the battery consistently remains within an ideal operating temperature range, improving high-frequency operation efficiency and system stability.

Operation Guide

  1. Connection Setup

    Connect the charging adapter cable to the port at the bottom of the cooler, then connect it to the Tattu charger.

  2. Battery Placement

    Place the smart battery into the cooler and make sure it is properly fixed.

  3. Power On

    Turn on the charger. The system will start charging and monitoring automatically.

  4. Automatic Cooling

    During charging, the system tracks battery temperature. When it reaches 38°C, the cooling fans start automatically.

The process is simple and can be directly used with existing charging systems without extra setup.
